Ava Baby Is Turning One!!

Ava is turning one this month!! Well technically she won't be one for another 3 years..... Thats the thing with being born on a leap year. We will celebrate it anyway. She is growing up way too fast! Ava has been the perfect little additon to our family and I can't imagine my life without her. She brings so much joy everywhere she goes. Her smile lights up her whole face and I love everything about this little girl.

A Little Late...

I'm falling behind on Ava's 10 month post. This girl is so funny! I love everything about her! She is such a good baby. She is constantly walking along furniture so I know any day now she will be walking on her own. She claps and waves and says "Hi!" She thinks Livi is hilarious. She laughs at her all day long. Even when she is grumpy and crying Livi can still make her laugh. She smiles every time I say "no, no." I think we may be in trouble there. As she gets older she just becomes more and more fun. I can't help kissing her every two seconds because she is just so adorable!

I found some pictures of Liv and Ava around the same age. They both have their own look. Liv is all Andy and the Rowland side and Ava is all me and the Curtis side. Funny how they come from the same people but look SO different.

Christmas!

 They LOVE their new house from Grandma and Grandpa Rowland! They play with it non stop!

 Ava got a cute elephant toy that shoots up balls. She thinks it is pretty cool.

 Liv got a really cute new doll from Grandma and Grandpa Curtis along with a grocery cart full of food for her new kitchen.

 Andy is getting better and better every year! This year he totally surprised me with real pearl earrings and a really cute new outfit!

This year Christmas was pretty low key seeing as how we just got back from a week long trip. We woke up and opened a few presents and then headed to my Grandma and Grandpa Curtis' house for the traditional biscuits and gravy. We drove to my parents after and opened a few more gifts and then hung out at our house the rest of the day. We all came down with nasty colds and have been miserable for a few days. I sure hope we all get feeling better soon!

Cancun 2012

I posted most of my pictures on Facebook. I will only post a few on here. Trust me there are alot! We had a really good time! I can't really say it was relaxing. Having both girls with us make for lots of work. It was nice to get away and enjoy some time with my family. Alivia loved all the attention she got from her uncles and grandparents. Ava however enjoyed all the attention she got from strangers! This girl was a hit in Mexico with her adorable big blue eyes. I got asked to hold her at least twice a day from strangers. Pretty funny.

The weather was amazing! Warm and sunny. The ocean was even warm! Liv loved waking up and going swimming everyday. Both of my girls love the water. It was a great trip and I look forward for another fun vacation in a few years when my little brother gets back from his mission. ( We were told that would be when our next trip would be.) It was awesome and I loved every minute of it!

As soon as we got home we all came down with a nasty cold.... Guess that is what happens when you come back to the cold and snow!

As Of Late...

We spent Thanksgiving with Andy's side of the family. It is always so much fun to get together and hang out. It was a nice get-a-way for all of us. I didn't get any pictures because sadly I forgot my camera.

Ava is now 9 months old. She is getting big so fast! It's crazy for me to think that Livi was this age when we found out we were pregnant with Ava! It is hard to believe! I think we will wait a while before baby #3 makes there debut. Both of my girls are so silly and I love being home with them all day! Ava is constantly pulling herself up on any and everthing! She is even trying to climb the stairs. Time to bust out the baby gate! She love standing up and being involved in whatever we are doing. She has started to dance this week! It is adorable! When she hears music she bobs her little head. Its spastic and funny!

Livi is so smart! She knows all of her alphabet along with each sound the letters make. She also knows all her shapes and colors. She still loves to color and she sings all day long! Some of her favorite songs are Wheels on the Bus, I'm so glad when daddy comes home, and We are never getting back together. (Yes the Taylor Swift song.) Everytime we get in the car Livi asks for the "never, never" song. Its so fun to hear her sing it!

Well there is a little update on my sweet girls. As for Andy and I...... we are pretty boring at the moment. Andy is working hard for his family and I'm taking care of us all. Both of our birhdays are coming up next week! We are planning to do something fun to celebrate! We just had our 5 year wedding anniversary on the 17th. It was a great day. We got to go back to the Salt Lake Temple where we were married and attend a live session. After that we went to lunch and did a little shopping. It was a really nice relaxing day.

My Precious 8 Month Old.

My Ava Bug is now 8 months old. She is growing so fast! She now is crawling and getting into everything! She can go from crawling position to sitting all by herself. She is trying to pull herself up on things already. She is a busy girl. I love this sweet face and i'm grateful everyday I get to stay home to watch her do these new things. Every morning the first thing Livi does is run over to her sister and says "Ava's so cute!" and gives her a big kiss. I'm so blessed to have these beautiful girls in my life!
